AAA Western and Central New York is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Watrous to Director of Project Management Office. Watrous was previously named Manager of Project Management in 2023 after serving as Senior Project Manager for AAA for three years. He will continue to work out of AAA’s Amherst headquarters.

In his new Project Management role, Watrous will lead a team of Project Managers and Business Relationship Managers, while overseeing a portfolio of Strategic and Operational projects, ensuring that the team meets all deadlines with deliverables on time, within scope, and within agreed upon budgets.

“I am very excited to accept my second promotion at AAA Western and Central New York,” Watrous said. “As Director, I’ll take on higher level projects while focusing on AAA’s strategic plan and making sure the Project Management Office is prepared for any initiatives across multiple business lines.”

Prior to joining AAA in July of 2020, Watrous spent 15 years with Bureau Veritas working in multiple roles within Information Technology including Manager of Client Solutions. He is a graduate of Niagara University.

A resident of Amherst, Watrous is a loyal Bills fan who supports the local community. He’s a native of Wheatfield. In his free time, you’ll find him with his children, going on hikes, and traveling.
