ELIGIBILITY
The AAA Western and Central New York Winter Prep Giveaway (“Promotion”) is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of AAA Western and Central New York (Club 084) territory only, who have a valid social security or tax ID number and who are at least eighteen (18) years old, at the time of entry. Entries received from persons residing outside the territory, or where restricted or prohibited by law, will be disqualified. Promotion may only be entered from and in eligible jurisdictions. Employees of AAA and immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Administrator may request any potential winner to provide proof that such person is the winner. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the account will be deemed to be the entrant. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. By participating in the Promotion, entrant fully and unconditionally agrees and accepts these Official Rules and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Promotion valid only on promotional dates and times listed. Participants must meet the eligibility requirements. Entrants need not be present to win. AAA Western and Central New York reserves the right to modify, cancel, suspend, terminate, or revoke this offer without notice. Entry into the Promotion does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prizes offered. Entrants may opt-in to marketing emails from AAA Western and Central New York via landing page entry. To opt out, simply check the unsubscribe link in any email you may receive. Other terms and restrictions may apply. By entering, participants release and hold harmless AAA Western and Central New York, including its directors, officers, employees, or subsidiaries from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest.
ADMINISTRATOR
The Administrator of the Promotion is AAA Western and Central New York, Inc., 100 International Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221 (“Administrator” or “AAA Western and Central New York”).
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion period begins at 9:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on December 21, 2023 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2023 (“Promotion Period”). Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device of the Promotion.
HOW TO ENTER
There are two (2) ways to enter:
Via Instagram
Entering on Instagram by tagging a friend in the comments on our Winter Prep Giveaway post via Instagram, like giveaway post, and follow our Instagram page @AAA_WCNY (https://www.instagram.com/aaa_wcny/) • Additional entries will be given to those who tag additional people in separate comments upon liking the post and our Instagram page.
Via Internet
Visit the Promotion entry page located at https://info.westerncentralny.aaa.com/winter-giveaway-2023 and complete the entry form. Entrants will check the box to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older. Only one entry per person will be given for a form submission. Multiple form submissions on the website will not provide additional entries or increase chances of winning.
For all entries
Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or other relevant account. Any attempt by you to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void your entries and you may be disqualified. Use of any repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar technology, system or agent (including without limitation promotion entry services) to enter is prohibited and will void all of your entries. Any automated receipt (such as one confirming delivery of text message or e-mail) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Administrator of an entry. AAA Western and Central New Yorj is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Administrator and none will be acknowledged or returned.
PRIZING
From the group of contestants that entered on Instagram and our contest landing page from 12/21/2023 - 12/31/2023, we will choose one (1) winner total at random. Winner will be picked by a random number online generator drawing by 1/5/2024. We will contact the winner directly through Instagram or through online entry form submission contact information. One (1) winner and their friend will receive a free Basic AAA Membership for a year. If either person is already a AAA Member, they will receive a free one (1) year membership renewal at their current membership level . The renewal will begin at the Winner or friend’s next renewal date. The winner will also receive one (1) winter gift pack including (2) AAA Road Kits, and (2) Fast Charge Power Banks. Total prize pack valued up to $500.00, variable upon Membership pricing/renewal tier. The AAA Membership(s) (and/or renewals) will be fulfilled by AAA Western and Central New York. The gift pack will be either mailed to the winner by AAA Western and Central New York or entrant must pick up prize at one of our local branches. AAA Membership subject to terms: https://westerncentralny.aaa.com/membership/my-aaa/membership-terms.html. AAA Membership is only given to New Members. If person winning is a AAA Member and wins a free renewal, that renewal will only cover themselves and not additional members of their family or associate memberships on their account.
Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. There will be only one prize per winner. Lost or stolen prizes will not be replaced. The prize does not include any other item or expense not specifically described in these Official Rules, and any such additional items or expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, and may not be given, bartered, substituted, sold, or exchanged for cash or another prize. Only listed prizes will be awarded and no other prizing or substitutions will be made. Unused components of the prize(s) have no redeemable cash value. Winner agrees to accept the prize “as is”, and you hereby acknowledge that AAA Western and Central New York has neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including express warranties (if any) provided exclusively by a prize supplier that are sent along with the prize. The valuation of any prize stated is based on available information provided to Administrator.
SELECTION AND VERIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNER
Administrator will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries by January 5, 2024. Administrator’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winner will be notified by email, phone, or direct message to the social media account, as applicable. Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Administrator will select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries, up to three (3) alternate potential winners. All alternate potential winners are subject to all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. If an alternate potential winner declines the prize or is disqualified, the prize will not be awarded.
All potential winners are subject to verification by Administrator.
Potential winners are restricted from any communication (e.g., announcing, telling any other person, or posting online via website, blog or any social media platform) stating that they have been contacted or are a potential winner or winner until Administrator has fully verified eligibility and Administrator has notified potential winner that he or she has been approved to communicate winner status.
PUBLICITY
Entrants give AAA Western and Central New York permission to share their (First Name, Last Initial), and social media handle, where applicable.
PRIVACY
Personal information entered for the contest will be used solely for the purpose of the contest. Please see the AAA Western and Central New York privacy policy for additional information on how information is used (available at aaa.com).
