AAA Gives Back Before Buffalo Bills Home Opener
AAA Western and Central New York (AAA WCNY) and the Buffalo Bills teamed up with Buffalo Bills’ Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins to launch a new AAA Bills MVP Membership on September 8, and as a result, some lucky football fans are going to the Buffalo Bills home opener at the new Highmark Stadium this week.
The new AAA Bills MVP Membership is designed with fans in mind with 10% off at The Bills Store on Tuesdays this season. It also includes opportunities for exclusive Buffalo Bills experiences including game tickets, pregame sideline passes, merchandise, special offers, and other chances for fan engagement throughout the season. Interest is already strong with thousands of fans signing on.
“I'm pleased to announce that the very first AAA Bills MVP Membership has been claimed by Del Reid, who is with us here today,” said AAA WCNY President and CEO Marke Dickinson at the Sept. 8th press conference. “Del is a 20-year AAA member, a lifelong Bills fan, and someone who has played a major role in building the Bills Mafia community.”
Reid, who was named Fan of the Year by the Buffalo Bills in 2023, is the co-founder of the Bills Mafia movement, which initially caught on in 2011 with the #BillsMafia movement on social media. In 2013, Reid founded 26 Shirts where each t-shirt design supports a charitable cause, with a portion of every sale donated to a family in need or a nonprofit organization. Reid was awarded two tickets for the Bills home opener to share with his deserving clients.
Dickinson also announced that two tickets were awarded to Dion’s Dreamers, Dawkins’ foundation, which was founded in 2020 to provide mentorship and support to young men and women in underserved communities. “I want to thank you guys for one, supporting the community; two, for supporting myself; and three, for being a part of this community in ways that a lot of people can’t,” Dawkins said. “What you’re doing for my foundation and now supporting my guy, Del, it’s a beautiful thing.”
“The work Dion Dawkins and Del Reid do through these organizations has made a meaningful impact in our community, and we're proud to celebrate several deserving recipients with this special experience,” Dickinson added.
Dawkins was named the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee for the Bills due to his outstanding work in the community through Dion's Dreamers. He serves as ambassador for the inaugural AAA Bills MVP Membership campaign after partnering with AAA for the past four years. “The commitment. The excellence. The community. Those are all values that AAA, the Bills, and I share. We all want to create memorable experiences for fans in Western and Central New York, and this campaign celebrates that,” he said.
The new AAA Bills MVP Membership delivers trusted 24/7 roadside assistance, travel planning services, and valuable member discounts that millions have relied on from AAA for generations, while bringing fans closer to the team, the players, the stadium, and the game-day experience.
