DAILY ITINERARY: 

January 30 – Arrive in the early afternoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica airport and be transferred to the resort for private check-in. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception to get acquainted with Chef Darian and your fellow travelers. 

January 31 – Enjoy Sandals Ochi at your leisure or an optional offsite excursion today. 

February 1 – Experience a full day tour through Chef Darian’s hometown, including two Jerk Hut visits with tastings and a stop at a market to “shop” for dinner. Dinner this evening is an exclusive event with the menu prepared in collaboration with Chef Darian. 

February 2 – Sail the crystal blue Caribbean waters during a private group catamaran sailing experience. 

February 3 – Savor the sun, sand, and surf Sandals Ochi has to offer at your leisure or partake in many of the optional offsite excursions available. Enjoy a farewell dinner on the beach this evening with fellow travelers. 

February 4 – Depart the resort late morning on a private group transfer to Montego Bay, Jamaica airport for the return flight to Buffalo, NY. Pass through airport security in a VIP line before settling in at a state-of-the-art all-inclusive lounge while waiting to board the flight.

CHALLENGING: fast pace; frequent physically challenging activities; walking on varied terrain and/or up to two miles at a time; longer tour days. This Activity Level is not recommended for travelers with serious medical conditions. 

 

DOCUMENTATION: A passport valid for six months past the return date of travel is required for this trip.

SINGLE OCCUPANCY: If a single room must be assigned for any reason, even at the last moment or while on tour, the single room supplement, or prorate thereof, must be collected since hotels make no allowances. 

NOT INCLUDED: Travel protection; Items of a personal nature; Meals not indicated on itinerary; Airline baggage fees; Transportation not indicated on itinerary; Departure airport parking fees.

Should the minimum number of passengers required to operate the tour not be met, AAA Western and Central New York has the right to cancel the tour. Certain itineraries may be inaccessible or not suitable for travelers with limited mobility. AAA Group Travel Tour Hosts are responsible for all travelers and tour components of a group tour. AAA Group Travel Tour Hosts, AAA employees, motorcoach drivers, and vendor employees are unable to function as a companion for solo travelers needing assistance with mobility (including assisting with boarding/disembarking from a motorcoach). AAA Group Travel requests that travelers report any mobility needs in advance of booking for us to evaluate the feasibility of a particular tour. ACTIVITY LEVEL 1 / RELAXED: leisurely pace; shorter touring days; some physical activity required (including independently boarding/disembarking motorcoach). 

ACTIVITY LEVEL 2 / COMFORTABLE: easy pace; some stairs and standing; short duration walks typically on level terrains. ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / ACTIVE: moderate pace; good mobility needed; stairs and prolonged standing for more than 2 hours at a time; some longer days involving early mornings and/or late evenings; some walking on varied terrain. This Activity Level is not recommended for travelers with mobility issues such as someone who uses a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
